The newly created role of Head of M&A will be responsible for shaping and executing the M&A strategy of the organization.
The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and will take accountability for the full cycle of acquisitions process, including but not limited to targets identification, initializing contacts, driving negotiations, deal structuring, support of the integration.
Job Description Develop and execute the M&A strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's broader investment goals Identify high-potential targets, according to the strategy Lead the entire negotiations and deal structuring process Oversee and manage the full deal lifecycle including due diligence, valuation and financial modeling Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including investment committees, legal advisors, financial institutions and business partners Support the post-acquisition process Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity within the services sector to inform strategic decisions and identify new growth opportunities Work closely with the management teams of acquired companies to ensure smooth transitions, leveraging a hands-on approach throughout the process The Successful Applicant Minimum of 7-10 years in M&A with a strong track record of successful transactions from strategy to execution, preferably within the services industry Proven ability to develop and implement M&A strategies that align with long-term business objectives, coupled with a deep understanding of market dynamics Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for leading transactions independently, from start to finish, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical tasks, including conducting due diligence, financial forecasting and risk assessment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
Proven experience working closely with C-level executives and investment committees Knowledge of the services sector will be an asset Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems quickly and effectively.
