Leading Louisville, KY Construction Company seeking Operations Leader Newly created Executive Position working directly with President About Our Client The Vice President, Construction and Operations will report directly to the President of one of Louisville, KYs biggest Construction companies.

Job Description Key Responsibilities include.
Strategic Planning and Execution.
Collaborate with the President and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan, focusing on growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in construction operations.
Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed.
Leadership and Management.
Oversee all construction operations, including project management, field operations, safety, quality control, and scheduling (30+ employees) Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, superintendents, and other construction professionals.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all construction teams.
Financial Management.
Manage construction budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for construction projects.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability through cost management, resource allocation, and process optimization.
Project Oversight Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address any issues or delays.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Client and Stakeholder Management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
Address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to construction projects.
Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and any changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of + years of experience in construction management, with at least 5-10 years+ in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
Proficient in construction management software and other relevant technologies.
Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
