Role and responsibilities Collaborate with industry experts across security, machine learning, digital risk protection, and cyber threat intelligence to develop cutting-edge machine learning solutions for the ZeroFox platform.
Help define machine learning roadmaps and projects for your team, with a pragmatic balance of higher risk and lower risk efforts.
Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and systems for natural language processing and computer vision applications, to enhance the lives of our customers while making the internet a safer place.
Evaluate and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of existing ML models.
Design and conduct statistically rigorous experiments (hypothesis testing, replication, etc.) Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and computer vision techniques to integrate them into our solutions.
Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, software engineers and non-technical stakeholders to integrate ML models into the ZeroFox platform.
Analyze and preprocess large, diverse datasets, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data used for model training and evaluation.
Maintain clear and well-documented code to ensure long-term sustainability and smooth collaboration with other team members.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and ensure your team’s growth and success.
Required Qualifications and Skills Motivated, communicative, teamwork-oriented leader who is comfortable working in agile environments and is able to learn and adapt quickly Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, or a related field, OR equivalent education or experience Machine learning experience, typically a minimum of 5 years Team and/or project leadership experience, typically a minimum of 2 years Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar machine learning frameworks Proficiency in Python Strong applied knowledge of statistics and scientific methods Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms Strong software engineering design and implementation skills involving multiple technology layers (databases, API’s, caching layers, etc.) Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Desirable skills Strong knowledge of NLP techniques, including but not limited to tokenization, parsing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and named entity recognition.
Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques such as object detection, segmentation, image classification, and OCR.
