As a QA Engineer Team Lead you will be in charge of.
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer Team Lead with expertise in Performance Testing to lead our QA team in ensuring the speed, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
As a Team Lead, you will manage a group of quality engineers, develop performance testing strategies, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
This role combines hands-on testing with team leadership, focusing on driving quality initiatives and optimizing system performance.

Leadership & Team Management.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Assign tasks, manage team priorities, and ensure timely delivery of performance testing objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support the growth and development of team members.
Performance Testing & Analysis.
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and strategies to assess application capacity, reliability, and scalability.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with engineering teams to implement improvements.
- Define and track performance metrics, benchmarks, and acceptance criteria for system performance.
Automation & CI/CD Integration.
-Build and maintain automated performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous monitoring and early detection of performance issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps to optimize testing workflows and ensure seamless integration of performance tests within the development lifecycle.
To be successful at this role, we expect you to have the following experience and skills.
- You must reside in Chile or Colombia - Advanced English skills - 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on performance testing and team leadership.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.
., JavaScript, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
