We are seeking a talented Lead Frontend Engineer with expertise in React and React Native to join our Nisum team in Chile or Colombia.
The ideal candidate will work as part of a client team based in the USA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the web & app experiences.
This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional user experiences while contributing to a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities.
Lead the development of responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces using React and React Native.
Guide other team members in the planning and estimation processes Perform code reviews and ensure the delivery of the team goals Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
Enhance existing functionality in the app & web flows.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable and mobile-capable devices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring application stability and a high-quality user experience.
Required Skills.
Must reside in Chile or Colombia Leadership, communication and commitment 4-8 years of professional experience in React and React Native development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and frontend development tools.
Hands-on experience with state management libraries (e.
., Redux, MobX).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform compatibility.
Desirable skills Experience with performance optimization techniques for React Native applications.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment.
Knowledge of Agile development practices and collaboration tools (e.
., JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Metro Bundler.
