WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Descripción del puesto Purpose.
• Coordinate receipt, picking, returns and dispatch of merchandise operations in the assigned area.
Functions.
• Coordinate the physical transfer of damaged merchandise and register it in the system.
• Ensure the proper functioning of all areas of the warehouse under your responsibility and that they are maintained without inventory differences.
• Supervise that the team carries out adequate palletizing of the merchandise.
• Review daily with the picking staff the productivity achieved and the action plan to improve or maintain.
• Assign and supervise picking orders.
• Prepare picking and damaged sections productivity reports.
• Plan operational activities weekly with the Account Manager.
• Carry out daily container unloading planning according to the request sent by the client and the arriving cargo.
• Prepare daily container reports.
• Print and deliver product labels to the labelers and supervise the process.
• Organize the reception and putaway process.
• Notify by e-mail and any other means of discrepancies and/or breakdowns produced or found in the process of receiving containers.
• Receive download documents and validate them with the check list.
• Coordinate and assign the day's container unloading and the resources necessary for it.
• Review the document cuts and deliver to the client signed by the security driver.
• Prepare and send reports of anomalies in the return process to the Account Manager.
• Carry out the delivery cuts of the documents of the received merchandise, signed by the driver to the client.
• Attend to shift start meetings.
• Keep the return area free of unidentified merchandise.
• Prepare and deliver reports and records to the person responsible for the next shift.
• Audit by sampling the picking that enters the staging area and keep a record of these inspections.
• Coordinate with your staff the maintenance and cleaning of the staging area and hallways.
• Ensure compliance with the rules of good storage practices.
• Enter the received merchandise into the SAP system.
• Ensure that the return cage remains empty at the end of each day or be clear about the reasons when this is not the case.
• Detect and report nonconformities to create opportunities for improvements in your area.
Requisitos Academic Level.
University student of Industrial Engineering or related careers Experience.
1 year in similar functions (desirable) Other requirements.
Knowledge of storing and inventory Teamwork Personal Supervision Other requirements Effective Communication MS Office (Word y Excel) System SAP, AS/400 Client Orientation Good documentation practices
