Position Overview / Summary.
As SQA Manager you will get assigned by the Group Manager to manage the verification of a running project.
Managing the verification of a project is meant managing the prototype building, the prototype startup and finally the verifications of the prototype versus the functional requirements.
Typically for OEM or third party developed equipment the definition of a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is generated out of the functional requirements.
The SQA Manager is responsible for providing this to the design partner and ensuring these tests are understood by the design partner and executed according to expectations.
Being an experienced engineer there is a clear individual contribution of the manager to also execute the verification, and while doing so make a clear report on the non-compliance if this is the case.
Design suggestions towards a possible solution are expected, this should then be based on an in-depth analysis of the malfunction.
The verification report deliverable is key in the stage gate process determining the status towards release (or not) of the product.

O wnership of all assigned project deliverables.

Collaboration with internal and external (international) design departments in a constructive, but corrective way, by reporting non-compliances versus the functional requirements Management of the assigned project deliverables (e.
.
planning according to priorities and agreed timings), and reporting this to the Project Manager.
Cross departmental alignment with Service and Operations while analyzing escalated issues.
Taking full responsibility of these escalated issues towards a resolution or redirection to the design teams, and consecutive follow up.
Investigating and understanding what the market/competitors are doing to be able to give guidance to the design teams for further improvements (business as well as technology) Analyse possible non-compliances and suggest possible solutions to the design teams Efficient analysis and mitigation of the escalated field and production problems reflects to the expected quality standards of the product.
It is therefore crucial that these problems are resolved within an acceptable time frame.
Be the first point of contact for Operations and Service to R&D, support these departments in problem solving Who You Are (Qualifications).
Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics/Electrical/(Electro)mechanical Engineering 3+ years of experience in a similar technical verification or validation role Comprehensive knowledge of the Inkjet product line is a benefit Exceptional research and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and proactive Able to work both individually and as part of a team Since the interaction in an international environment with other departments and customers is part of this function, well developed people skills and clear communication are required to be successful.
