Responsibilities.
Operation and Maintenance of electrical utilities for our utility, supporting the development of strategic plans to meet those requirements.
Effective management of electrical utilities, with a strong focus on maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with colleagues from different departments to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to optimize electrical utilities systems.
Conduct routine inspections and provide maintenance for electrical utilities equipment to maintain peak performance and reduce operational interruptions.
Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues in areas such as electrical distribution, power quality, and energy efficiency.
Site point of contact for ATEX systems of work.
Ownership of the site BCP and compliance program for electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, to a minimum NFQ7.
Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical utilities engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical utilities systems, including power distribution, transformers, generators, and switchgear.
Proficiency in using electrical engineering software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve electrical utilities issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
ATEX trained & certified an advantage Knowledge or operational experience in controls or instrumentation a distinct advantage.
