Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization.
Leadership and management of the finance function of Southeast Asia.
Input and participate in the development of SEA's business strategies and operations.
Continuously identify and recommend all necessary actions to improve the financial performance and efficiency of the business.
Drive, track, and support management of yearly targets.
Key Responsibilities.
Business Partner Role + FP&A Be the trusted advisor to SEA SLT on financial/strategic topics and risk management.
Ensure the controlling, forecasting, and provision of a critical view of all the business drivers, contributing to the achievement of targets and the continuous improvement of the financial performance.
Ongoing input from a financial perspective for financially sound business decision-making, e.
., optimum pricing model, investment requirements, sales compensation structure, sales terms, accounts receivable aging, inventory levels, and clearance etc.
Establish processes to closely manage key sales financial parameters, including returns, IDL, DSO, and cash flow, to achieve annual targets.
Proactively manage the balance sheet and P&L monthly to maximize the return for adidas group.
Lead the yearly budgeting process and establish alignment with the respective departments and the Group.
Proactively identify, evaluate, and drive opportunities to reduce costs and maximize margins.
Demand Planning Provide oversight of the IBP process to align the unconstrained demand of SEA’s countries between Marketing and Sales from an unbiased perspective across all categories, brands, and channels.
Overall responsible for implementing the monthly IBP cycle aligned with EM and global blueprint.
Identify critical risks and opportunities vs the plan to ensure commitments are met.
Work cross-functionally to manage inventory optimally, taking a balanced buy and clearance management approach.
Support with Operational Demand Planning topics.
Internal Controls & Policies Secure strong internal controls over assets and compliance with Group policies.
Ensure audit and compliance with the Group finance manual regarding the critical financial, control, and approval processes.
Responsible for implementing the annual global Control Self-Assessment (“CSA”) process to facilitate ongoing adherence to policies and best practices.
Ensure the provision of regulatory financial information and governance of all legal entities to the respective tax and financial institutions.
Will serve as the critical interface for external and internal audits with primary responsibility for adherence to policy and legal regulations.
Credit Management & Accounts Payable Ensure diligent credit control of all customers and drive cash collections within the agreed due dates with support of GBS & local teams Ensure payments to vendors are managed within payment policies with support of GBS & local teams Group Finance Functions (e.
., Tax, Treasury, Group Accounting, Insurance, etc.) Ensure Tax, Treasury, Accounting, and Insurance topics are managed in the best interests of EM and Global.
Facilitator on Cluster level for Group Finance functions by interacting and coordinating with relevant subject matter experts at the Global level and working closely with local teams.
Guarantee a good standard for GBS within the cluster, while assuring GBS routined base activities are met with the expected quality of the delivery KPIs.
Non-Trade Procurement (NTP) Ensure NTP policies are implemented, required processes are adhered to and savings are driven against agreed Targets People Management Define organizational structure, set objectives, and manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement.
Ensure high employee engagement at every level through compelling motivation, coaching, training, and development of team members.

University degree in business management Minimum of years in finance department in controlling and accounting functions as Head of Department Board or management team experience.
International experience and track record Preferably knowledge of adidas and various Global functional organizations and processes Language skills.
