SENIOR COUNSEL - ASSET BACKED SECURITIZATIONS

Exciting opportunity to join Legal team of financial services firm Role will focus on corporate legal finance, securitizations, CLOs About Our Client Financial services firm.
Job Description Role will report directly to the General Counsel and will handle the following.
Primary support for CLO deal team on approved transactions (manage external counsel, etc) and on RMBS transactions, some review of diligence files Review term sheets & offering documents, note purchase agreements, placement agreements on transactions (144 A deals) Advise the treasury function on all legal matters Track regulatory developments/litigation/new legal issues having an effect on mortgage business The Successful Applicant JD from top law school with excellent academic credentials and GPA Admitted to NY State Bar 5+ years of experience, gained at a top law firm, handling financial services CLOs, securitizations and RMBS mortgage transactions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player What's on Offer Competitive base salary Bonus Additional benefits Work/life balance Hybrid role (4 days in-office)
