Job Summary.
In this role, you will perform activities related to the day-to-day administration and maintenance of databases/applications.
You will perform installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration.
Your work will resolve more complex database/application issues which will provide valuable support to projects, teams, and customers.
Major Responsibilities.
Performs activities related to the day-to-day administration and maintenance of databases and/or applications, ensuring they are available, performing properly, and secure with occasional collaboration with other DBA’s  Performs installations, upgrades and patching, recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration  Performs complex database and/or middleware performance tuning  Confers with appropriate managers, customers and extended IS&T teams regarding problems/schedules and is capable of handling database/application issues of intermediate to complex scope  Independently works with vendors on SR’s, ServiceNow updates, Jira Ticket updates and other database monitoring and management tools for day-to-day health checks and resolutions  Supports users with more complex issues like SSO, application page performance,  Works with application support teams to troubleshoot integration and other issues  Works with IS&T infrastructure teams on OS, database, network, cloud, and security issues  Guides junior DBA’s and helps them document and complete activities or answer questions.
Education and Experience Requirements.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience​   Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
Experience in migration and support on cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS).
Experience in Agile, SOA, OTM/GTM, Unifier, GRC and Hyperion.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience in managing Oracle databases that run on EBS applications.
Exposure to database migration and upgrades, with experience in the installation of Oracle EBS Applications.
Perform debugging, tuning and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration aspect of the Oracle EBS and database platforms.
EBS 12.
Install, Upgrade, Migration, support and maintenance on on-prem and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Infra.
This includes cloning, patching, concurrent manager support.
Also includes iSupplier portal and DMZ installation and maintenance experience.
Oracle ECC installation and integration with EBS.
Vertex maintenance and support.
This includes Installation, Upgrade experience.
Stat maintenance and support.
This includes Installation, Upgrade experience.
Experience in Oracle SSO support and maintenance.
Experience in Managing Oracle RAC and ASM in an Exadata environment.
