What you will do As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will.
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement GCP services focused on machine learning (e.
., Vertex AI, TensorFlow) or data engineering (e.
., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
Develop and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions for AI agent and advertising initiatives.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud engineering concerning data and AI on GCP.
Operate in an agile environment and work creatively with data on Google Cloud.
Requirements To thrive in this role, we require.
A valid Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Engineer certification.
A valid Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer certification.
Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on GCP.
A solid understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
Proficiency in IaC tools (e.
., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.
., Python, Bash).
Adeptness in working with data + Google Cloud technology.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Fluency in English, enabling you to communicate effectively with international clients.
The capability to work during Central Time Zone hours.
For this position, candidates must reside in Mexico or Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are desirable.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.
., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Experience with serverless computing.
Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical or advertising industries.
