FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - CONSTRUCTION

Partner with Regional President and VP Operations based in Las Vegas, NV Run the entire Accounting and Finance Function for TopENR Construction Company About Our Client The Financial Controller - Construction will lead the regional financial operations for one of the largest Construction companies in the United States.
This role is based on-site, in the office in Las Vegas, Nevada and works directly with the Business Unit President and VP of Operations and reports directly to the Head of Group Finance.
This is a multi-billion dollar annual revenue company and this is an important Finance Leadership role.
Job Description The Financial Controller - Construction is responsible for the following.
Financial Reporting & Analysis.
Prepare and assemble comprehensive financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
Produce both internal and external financial reports and projections.
Conduct financial analysis, including Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV), to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to aid in strategic planning.
Accounting Operations.
Lead and mentor accounting support staff, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
Oversee Construction Work in Progress (WIP) accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
Budgeting & Financial Controls.
Participate in setting and meeting the region's gross profit, overhead, and profit goals.
Maintain an accurate understanding of the company's cash position at all times, ensuring effective cash flow management.
System & Process Management.
Leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, to manage financial data and perform complex analyses.
Utilize Viewpoint software for financial and accounting operations, ensuring optimal use of technology to enhance efficiency.
Simplify and graphically illustrate financial scenarios to aid decision-makers in understanding complex financial data.
Strategy.
Implement the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and recommendations with Executive Level Leadership Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and contribute to the company's overall success.
The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree CPA/MBA Preferred Finance leadership tenure essential Systems.
