Support the implementation of financial strategies across multiple countries Oversee regional (CEE + the Baltics) management reporting About Our Client Our client is a globally recognized, mid-sized company within the pharmaceutical sector, with its CEE headquarters located in Warsaw, Poland.

We are currently seeking to recruit a CFO Poland & CEE FP&A who will play a crucial role in supporting the company's strong market position and driving its continued double-digit growth across Continental Central Europe.
This role is responsible for overall financial management in Poland, and regionally, within the CEE and Baltics, the role focuses on overseeing FP&A and Business Finance.
The position will also be part of the senior management team.
The new CFO will collaborate closely with the CEO, other Board members, and management teams from the northern, southern, and central regions, as well as other Directors across the European region.
This position is pivotal to the business's ongoing success.
Job Description Ensure compliance of Poland entity with both group and local laws and regulations Support organizational & business projects to propose effective solutions and improvements within the emerging structure in a new geographical region Evaluate the effectiveness of business processes and drive initiatives to support the company's significant ongoing growth Partner with business units to uncover growth opportunities and enhance process efficiencies Oversee regional (CEE + the Baltics) management reporting and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and strategic oversight Participate in key strategic decisions as part of the senior management team, leading financial strategy development and execution Contribute to financial strategic planning by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations, and setting functional goals aligned with organizational aims Conduct financial viability analyses for new projects, including detailed profitability assessments, funding needs, and risk evaluations Participate in key strategic decisions as part of the senior management team, leading financial strategy development and execution Leverage market insights and customer connections to generate valuable business intelligence Prioritize improvements in productivity, quality, growth, and profitability Oversee regional management reporting and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and strategic oversight Lead and monitor implementation of and adherence to a high standard internal control over financial reporting that is compliant with the Group framework Lead local adaptation of corporate guidelines, standards and procedures to ensure compliance both at corporate and local levels (accounting, tax and cash, risk management & payroll) Direct financial planning, review financial performance and budget deviations, and ensure alignment of cash flow with operational needs Lead a geographically dispersed team, including overseeing Finance Managers and other senior roles across multiple countries The Successful Applicant Extensive experience in finance within an international, sales-driven organization; regional experience, a focus on strategic initiatives, and a global mindset will be an advantage; Preferably experienced in the pharmaceutical/FMCG sectors Experience in rapidly changing companies with a hands-on approach to finance, focusing on commercial finance, value creation processes, cost-effectiveness initiatives, profitability, and margins Demonstrated transnational experience and exposure, encompassing work across multiple countries and overseeing international finance operations Proven track record in driving and managing change initiatives effectively Ability to support the CEO and Board in co-leading the company, acting as a Sparring Partner and challenging the status quo at the group level Proven experience in working with different international stakeholders, possessing strong managerial and leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams across multiple countries University degree required; advanced education or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable Successful experience in leading teams across geographically dispersed locations Proven ability to collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and functional experts Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear and concise insights to senior management and other key stakeholders Fluency in English and Polish is essential Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required What's on Offer Opportunity to lead and shape financial strategies within a rapidly growing international organization Be part of a dynamic team and drive significant impact through overseeing and enhancing financial and operational processes across multiple countries Work in a collaborative environment that values strategic input and offers the chance to influence key business decisions Exposure to diverse challenges and experiences in a leading role within a high-growth industry
