This position reports to BL Manager Mining Your role and responsibilities Are you ready to lead the charge in driving digital transformation within the mining industry? Join our team where you will play a key role in promoting and expanding ABB's digital portfolio, working closely with industry leaders, and shaping the future of mining through innovative digital solutions.
n this role, you will be responsible for promoting ABB's digital portfolio in Mining and Mineral Processing to drive overall business growth and achieve specified targets.
You will support country sales teams in driving the sales of the digital portfolio by providing direction and mentoring to both direct and indirect sales teams, ensuring monthly budget commitments are consistently met.
ou will collaborate closely with the central Digital team to provide industry-specific input into formal processes for digital product development.
Additionally, you will identify and evaluate opportunities with both existing and potential new customers, develop implementation plans, and allocate resources to support the adoption of digital products and solutions.
uilding strategic partnerships with customers and solution providers will also be a key part of your role, as you will effectively communicate ABB\us value proposition through compelling proposals and presentations.
Furthermore, you will identify and manage potential risks related to contract agreements across customers and channels, including cyber security risks, while providing support to country and regional sales teams.
Qualifications for the role To be successful in this position, you bring solid domain knowledge of the mining industry and the ability to connect the value of digitalization with ABB's innovative portfolio.
You have a Bachelor\us or Master\us degree in Engineering and/or Management, along with at least 10 years of experience, ideally with global exposure.
Strong management, communication, and leadership skills are essential for excelling in this dynamic position.
