ASSISTANT MANAGER SPORTS MARKETING - RUNNING (M,F,D)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization.
Support for the relevant departments (e.
.
sports marketing, product, communications, PR, wholesale/retail) also for the subsidy companies and regions of adidas to ensure the contract rights and specifications which are granted by associations/federations/athletes.
Development and implementation of new concepts and guarantee of the asset activation within the context of associations/ federations/athletes as well as the support in project implementation for associations/ federations/athletes.
Key Responsibilities.
Support the definition of promotion product strategy for associations/ federations/athletes in collaboration with the teams of the certain BU’s Report from successes/doubts of future BU improvements Be the contact point in relation to associations/ federations/athletes for issues from service and service connected departments in collaboration with the Senior Manager.
Collaboration with the most important departments (e.
.
PRS, product, SMSU, CtC-team, global communications, PR) Coordination of the complete associations/ federations/athletes projects and handling of the prognoses, orders, deliveries, etc.
for all events of associations/ federations/athletes.
Equipment management Coordination of the whole Kit/product approval process with the competition department of associations/ federations/athletes pursuant to the associations/ federations/athletes equipment rules Coordination of the complete licensed product and related communication approval process.
Definition and execution of the yearly associations/ federations/athletes activation plans (including licensed product strategy, retail, implementation, global brand and communication concept and B2B) considering the middle and long term vision of the adidas brand.
Guarantee the communication and activation of the event-related rights and duties of associations/ federations/athletes within the global adidas organization and the respective guest market (including management and support) Assistance of the global sports marketing function in all administrative tasks.
Act as contact point in relation to associations/ federations/athletes sponsor families (Coca Cola, Mc Donalds…).
Representation of the brand adidas and the respective sports marketing category in all associations/ federations/athletes events.
Act and support as a libero for all event projects and equipment requests of associations/ federations/athletes.

Completed university degree preferably in Marketing & Business administration or Sports management 1+ year work experience Knowledge of the respective sports marketing category and active interest in the respective sports.
